Promptence
AI visibility intelligence
Local Business AI Visibility
Local SEO creates signals. Promptence measures whether those signals turn into AI recommendations.
Promptence measures how local businesses appear when buyers ask AI systems who to choose in a city, district, nearby area or service zone. It records observed recommendations, competitor pressure and source evidence, then supports diagnosis and comparable remeasurement after improvements.
Who Local AI Visibility is for
The local measurement layer can be used by restaurants and cafes, clinics and dental practices, salons and wellness businesses, hotels and accommodation, retail and showrooms, auto services, real-estate teams, home services and other businesses whose customer choice depends on geography.
What Promptence measures
A local measurement can include buyer questions shaped by city, district, nearby intent and service area; whether the business enters the observed recommendation set; which competitors appear instead; and which source domains or citations are exposed when the provider returns them.
Google Maps, reviews and local SEO are not alternatives to Promptence
Maps, reviews, directories, local listings, first-party pages and credible local coverage help create the public signals that search and AI retrieval systems may use. Promptence does not replace those channels. It measures the next layer: whether the combined public footprint actually translates into observed AI recommendation visibility and where the evidence suggests a gap.
Free, Monitor, Growth and Pro solve different jobs
Free provides a small initial buyer-intent signal. Monitor is for comparable recurring observation of the same demand portfolio. Growth adds full root-cause diagnosis, source intelligence, a prioritised remediation backlog and controlled remeasurement. Pro adds approval-gated implementation, verification and governed before-and-after evidence. Business size alone does not determine the right plan; the depth of the job does.
Local monitoring is included in Monitor — not a separate subscription
Local and standard businesses use the same Monitor subscription. The current Monitor measurement policy includes up to 25 fixed buyer-intent questions, one recall-model surface, five source-backed questions, observed competitors, a preserved evidence history and monthly comparable monitoring. When Local scope is selected and a city, district or service area is supplied, the paid query portfolio prioritizes local buyer intent within that existing allowance.
For businesses that need full source diagnosis, controlled follow-up experiments or approved implementation, Growth and Pro offer deeper work. We do not advertise daily monitoring, GPS-level personalization, live Google Maps ranking or consumer-ChatGPT UI captures where those surfaces have not been measured.
Run the free Local AI Check →Managed work is optional
Managed audits and implementation sprints are separately scoped services, not a required subscription tier. For a single local business they are appropriate only when the commercial value, number of locations, complexity of the digital footprint or implementation scope justifies hands-on work by the Promptence team.
How improvement is evaluated
Promptence starts from observed buyer demand, preserves the measurement context, turns diagnosed gaps into prioritised work and then remeasures comparable demand after approved changes. The useful output is not a promise that one edit will force a model to recommend the business; it is evidence of what changed across the same governed test.
Important limitation
Third-party AI systems are probabilistic and can change with model versions, retrieval, geography, freshness and other factors. Promptence therefore does not guarantee a ranking, citation, recommendation, lead or revenue result. The product is designed around a defined measurement workflow, persisted evidence and comparable remeasurement when the configured workflow is available.
